ROV Operator / Dive Technician (Offshore Marine Specialist)
Reporting To:Operations Manager
Role Purpose:
To ensure safe, compliant, and technically reliable operation, maintenance, and deployment readiness of ROV systems, diving support systems, and associated offshore equipment used in underwater inspection, hull cleaning, and marine intervention operations in accordance with Singapore WSH requirements, SS511 standards, CDAS guidelines, and company SOPs.
Minimum Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum 8–10 years offshore marine industry experience
- Minimum 5–7 years hands-on ROV operational experience (inspection-class and/or work-class systems)
- Proven offshore experience in underwater inspection, hull cleaning, or similar marine intervention activities
- Strong technical capability in troubleshooting, calibration, maintenance, and repair of ROV and related systems
- Experience with diving systems, hydraulic/electrical marine equipment, or equivalent offshore tooling systems
- Experience using Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS), maintenance logs, and certification tracking systems
- Strong exposure to vessel-based offshore operations and dynamic marine environments
- Ability to interpret real-time telemetry, video feeds, and inspection data for operational decision support
- Working knowledge of offshore risk assessment processes, permit-to-work systems, and safety compliance frameworks
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate ROV systems for inspection, survey, and hull cleaning operations
- Conduct pre-deployment and post-deployment inspections, testing, and maintenance
- Monitor live operational telemetry, video feeds, and system performance during offshore execution
- Perform fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and field-level corrective actions
- Maintain PMS records, equipment logs, and certification documentation
- Support inventory control, spare parts tracking, and equipment readiness planning
- Assist offshore operations with technical execution and system readiness support
- Ensure full compliance with WSH Act, SS511, CDAS, and internal operational SOPs
- Prepare post-operation technical and inspection reports

- No manpower hiring authority
- No scheduling authority
- No commercial or contractual authority
- No independent client communication authority
