Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Registered Qualified Individual Director to join our corporate services firm in Singapore. The successful candidate will act as a key appointment holder and support the company’s corporate secretarial, regulatory compliance, client onboarding, and ACRA filing obligations.

This role is suitable for a professional with at least 5 years of corporate secretarial and compliance experience, preferably within a Singapore Corporate Service Provider, accounting firm, law firm, professional services firm, or in-house corporate secretarial department.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Acting as the company’s RQI / Registered Qualified Individual, where eligible and approved.
  • Acting as a director or key management personnel of the company, subject to appointment and regulatory suitability.
  • Supervising corporate secretarial staff and authorised filing personnel.
  • Overseeing ACRA/Bizfile filings, including incorporations, annual returns, changes in directors/shareholders, registered office changes, share transfers and company profile updates.
  • Ensuring compliance with Singapore Companies Act requirements and ACRA filing obligations.
  • Reviewing and maintaining statutory registers, board resolutions, shareholder resolutions and corporate records.
  • Supporting client onboarding, customer due diligence, KYC checks and risk assessment.
  • Ensuring AML/CFT/PF procedures are properly followed and documented.
  • Reviewing clients involving foreign shareholders, nominee directors, nominee shareholders, PEPs or complex ownership structures.
  • Monitoring filing deadlines and ensuring timely statutory compliance for client companies.
  • Liaising with ACRA, IRAS, banks, auditors, lawyers and other professional service providers where required.
  • Training and guiding junior corporate secretarial and compliance staff.
  • Assisting management with CSP registration, renewal, internal policies and regulatory audits.

Requirements

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in corporate secretarial, corporate compliance, ACRA filings, company administration or related professional services.
  • Existing Registered Qualified Individual status with ACRA, or eligibility to be registered as an RQI.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore company incorporation, statutory compliance and corporate secretarial practice.
  • Familiarity with ACRA Bizfile transactions and statutory filing procedures.
  • Experience handling client companies, directors, shareholders, beneficial owners and company records.
  • Good understanding of AML/CFT, customer due diligence, risk assessment and compliance documentation.
  • Able to supervise staff and ensure accurate, timely and compliant filings.
  • High integrity, strong attention to detail and sound professional judgment.
  • No adverse regulatory, bankruptcy, fraud, dishonesty or disqualification record.
  • Professional qualification or membership with a relevant body such as CSIS, ISCA, legal, accounting, corporate secretarial or compliance institution will be an advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Prior experience working in a Singapore Corporate Service Provider.
  • Experience dealing with foreign-owned Singapore companies.
  • Experience reviewing nominee director, nominee shareholder or registered address service arrangements.
  • Practical knowledge of statutory registers, beneficial ownership records and controller registers.
  • Ability to implement compliance checklists, filing calendars and internal review procedures.
  • Experience training junior corporate secretarial executives.

Compensation

  • Monthly salary: SGD 4,000 to 5,000
  • CPF contributions where applicable
  • Annual leave and statutory employment benefits in accordance with Singapore employment law
