Core Responsibilities

  • Own the S&OP process in-market connecting with relevant colleagues, making recommendations to Leadership that drive development and trigger deployment aligned to Market Group processes.
  • Coordinate preparation of documents for the Demand Review
  • Coordinate the calendar of events as required to ensure all inputs are captured based on key S&OP decisions and directions to be communicated in a timely manner.
  • Facilitate the monthly Demand Review meeting in support of the General Manager
  • Be the guardian of the S&OP leadership behaviours.
  • Drive both top and bottom down Market Group assumptions reporting into the regional team.
  • Partner with the Demand Planners to forecast both sell in and consumer sales for Iberia ensuring the forecast is done at monthly level and updated.
  • Collaborate with Sales, challenging them on the forecasts of push volume (bundles, promotions, launches) and bringing in Demand Planners in that process.
  • Play a key role in ingesting the top down, regional assumptions whilst also ensuring Market Group Demand Planners are aware of any key specific assumptions that should be considered for the full demand planning horizon.
  • Partner with regional Demand Planning to ensure the full horizon demand plan is taken into consideration key assumptions and the overall build of the BU demand plan looks right.

Collaborating closely with Demand Planning, Brand/Trade Marketing, Finance and Sales colleagues being right at the centre of the Business Unit with a strong focus on taking those findings from the data and delivering up to in-country Leadership Team level. You will drive delivery of demand plans in collaboration with rest of the team and ensures that this demand plan takes into account all aspects of the Business Unit. On top of it, the Operations team is also taking care of order management, inventory management, customer service and secures operational infrastructure for other market functions such as Sales and Marketing.

Do you have what it takes?

  • In-depth data led Operations exposure working within an international consumer goods environment.
  • Experience working in a supply chain and/or commercial environment with a focus on data/ insight that has a commercial impact.
  • Previous Demand Planning experience would be preferable/ exposure either within or partnering with Commercial and the wider commercial Business Unit would be an advantage).
  • Strong written and verbal skills with a proven track record of building and delivering a narrative that simplifies the message for commercial partners (up to Leadership level).
  • Business proficiency in English both written and spoken as well as fluent in Spanish is essential.
