SAFETY COORDINATOR

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist in identifying unsafe conditions and unsafe work practices at worksites
• Recommend practical corrective and preventive measures to improve workplace safety
• Conduct regular site inspections and examinations of worksites, machinery, equipment, and installations
• Review and inspect worksite records, certificates, permits, notices, and other relevant documents
• Carry out investigations and inquiries relating to workplace safety matters
• Assess workplace exposure levels to noise, illumination, heat, hazardous substances, and other environmental factors
• Investigate workplace accidents, dangerous occurrences, and occupational diseases
• Support the implementation and maintenance of Workplace Safety & Health policies and procedures
• Promote safety awareness and ensure compliance with statutory requirement sand company safety standards

What We’re Looking For

• WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health (Level B)
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Safety Coordinator, preferably in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Pharmaceutical industries
• Fresh graduates with a relevant WSH qualification are welcome to apply
• Good knowledge of Workplace Safety & Health regulations and industry best practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and organisational abilities
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as within a team
