Safety Coordinator

Responsibilities:

  • Advice On provisions to minimize safety risks

  • Develop and enforce SHE policies (e.g. accident reporting process)

  • Direct accident investigation procedures

  • Keep records of safety-related incidents and propose corrective actions

  • Organize and conduct SHE training

  • Collaborate with managers to monitor compliance and identify safety issues

  • Intervene in unsafe activities or operations

  • Liaise with and report to official regulatory bodies on SHE matters

  • Conduct site inspections

  • Participate in company and SHE related activities, campaigns and committees

  • Assist SHE Manager in ad-hoc SHE tasks

Job Requirement

  • Minimum GCE ‘O’ Levels with passes in English, Mathematics and Science or equivalent

  • WSQ: Advanced Certificate in WSH (Level B) or equivalent (Safety Coordinator Training Course)

  • WSQ: Supervise Workplace Safety and Health in Process Plant or equivalent (OPSIC)

  • Work at Height for Supervisors

  • WSQ: Supervise Work in Confined Space Operation

  • Occupational First Aid

  • BiZsafe Level 2: Risk Management
