We are seeking applications for the position K3 - Safety Engineer for MML 5,9&7A

Missions/Main Duties

  • Assists Chief Safety Expert in coordinating safety issues with construction contractors, client, and other stakeholders.

  • Ensures implementation of approved Safety Plan.

  • Recommends additions or alterations to safety plan based on field condition changes or new plant, machinery, or equipment introduced by contractors.

  • Trains and educates D&B contractor and client engineers on safety issues.

  • Conducts site inspections to verify compliance with safety plans.

  • Supervises and educates Construction Safety Engineers in monitoring D&B Contractors' safety measures.

  • Contributes to Quality, Environment, H&S assurance, specifically Health and Safety
  • Supports H&S audits
  • Engages in close and proactive construction supervision

  • Provides supervision and approval of Contractors' work performance

Profile/Skills

  • Education qualification – Any Graduate
  • Years of experience – 10 years
  • Prior experience requirement - 10 years
  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
  • Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.
  • Ability to problem solve, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices.
  • Self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority
  • Strong leadership skills, proven ability to lead a team effort & make independent decisions and be a good troubleshooter.
