SAFETY & OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH MANAGER
You will serve as a SAFETY & OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH MANAGER in the Occupational Safety, Health and Environment Office, Code 106 of PSNS and IMF.
You will serve as the Director of the Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment (OSHE) office for the Shipyard Commander.
You will develop, implement, and monitor all programs concerning the safety and health of the work force and protection of property, environmental compliance, and protection of natural resources.
You will be responsible for training, evaluation of standards, emergency planning, and professional liaison with medical, local, state, and federal agencies.
You will develop plans and programs for safety, health, and environmental quality management, and monitor execution.
You will develop and analyze data and prepare reports relating to the responsiveness of implementation plans for safety, health, and environmental protection programs.
You will develop or analyze proposals for new or revised safety, health, and environmental protection regulations, and determine organizational impact.
You will represent the Shipyard and present Shipyard positions at meetings, conferences, hearings, public groups and regional, federal, municipal and state authorities on safety, health, and environmental matters.
