Sales and Business Development Executive - Tanzania

Uliza Events is expanding in Tanzania and is looking for a Hybrid Business Development Agent<\/b> to help grow our client base for wristbands and event merchandise.
<\/p>

This role is not full\-time<\/b> but is performance\-based and flexible<\/b>, as long as you meet your daily and weekly KPIs<\/b>. You will work remotely, make calls, visit clients on the ground, and use social media to generate leads.
<\/p>

You\u2019ll target malls, events, swimming pools, hotels, schools, NGOs, and printing partners<\/b>.
<\/p>


Key Responsibilities<\/b>
<\/h3>
  • Generate 10 bulk leads (5,000+ pieces)<\/b> and 15 small leads (<5,000 pieces)<\/b> daily
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Make calls to prospects and update Excel sheets
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Identify high\-traffic venues and events using wristbands
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Share samples and collect pricing info from clients
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Set up meetings and close 10 deals per week<\/b>
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Retain and upsell to top clients
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Perform social media outreach (WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook)
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Partner with printing firms and event companies
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Coordinate deliveries with our fulfillment partner
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Maintain a weekly tracker of upcoming events through December
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Submit daily activity reports<\/b>
    <\/p><\/li><\/ul>

    Requirements<\/h3>

    Ideal Candidate<\/b>
    <\/h3>
    • 2\u20133 years of experience in sales, cold calling<\/b>, or field marketing<\/b>
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Strong communication & networking skills<\/b>
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Fluent in English and Swahili<\/b> (written and spoken)
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Fast typing skills<\/b> and excellent email/WhatsApp communication
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel<\/b> for tracking leads and events
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Self\-motivated, organized, and results\-oriented
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Familiar with using social media for business<\/b>
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Based in Tanzania and able to move around as needed
      <\/p><\/li><\/ul>
