Job Description:

- Lead and mentor team members to develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets, increase revenue and expand market share in both existing and new markets

- Build and maintain relationships with distributors, retailers and key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration

- Drive business by identifying new business opportunities, drive growth through identifying and meeting potential clients and building positive relationships

- Work closely with team to enhance their proficiency and product knowledge, enabling them to sell effectively to distributors and retailers

- Oversee logistics operations to ensure timely, accurate and cost-effective delivery of products

- Oversee inventory management, monitor products availability

- Coordinate with warehouses, freight forwarders, third-party logistics providers to resolve any issues and ensure smooth shipping and fulfilment

- Generate reports, maintain accurate and up-to-date records of orders, shipments, inventory levels and other logistics-related data

- Facilitate clear communication across departments to ensure smooth daily operations

- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness while meeting sales targets

- Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, customer demands and suggest ways for improvements

- Dashboard reporting on sales performance for product line and distributor/region sales through data collection and analysis (manager position)

- Support in internal and external audits

- Other ad hoc duties as assigned by the company

Job Requirements:

- Minimum Degree in Business, Sales, Logistics & Supply Chain or any relevant field of study

- At least 3 - 5 years of relevant work experience in a sales/business development role, including at least 3 years of experience in a leadership or management position

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills

- Possess leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team

- Strong analytical skills to analyze market trends and identify new opportunities for growth

- Experience in managing budgets and forecasting sales targets

- Proficient in MS Office software

- Able to travel overseas for business trips when required

- Open to work in warehouse when required

- Open to work on some weekends/public holidays for Company events when required

- Good-to-have: Having a valid class 3 driving license

- Proficiency in Japanese language is an added advantage, to liaise with Japanese speaking associates/business partners

Compensation:

- Working location: CBD, Singapore

- Working hours: Monday to Friday 8.5 hours/day including 1 hour lunch break

- Flexible reporting time to work between 8.30am to 10am; 1 hour lunch break between 11.30am to 2pm
