Sales Development Representative (EAST)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sales Development Representative (EAST) based in the United States.

This role is focused on generating and qualifying high-quality pipeline for mission-critical software used by fire and EMS agencies.
You will operate at the front line of the sales engine, blending high-volume outbound prospecting with fast, precise handling of inbound leads.
The position requires strong discipline, resilience, and the ability to consistently turn signals—whether from campaigns, events, or direct outreach—into meaningful sales conversations.
You will engage directly with public safety organizations, understanding their operational challenges and identifying where technology can improve efficiency and safety.
This is a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment where speed-to-lead, persistence, and structured outreach directly impact revenue growth.
You will collaborate closely with Account Executives and marketing teams to ensure strong alignment across the entire funnel.
Success in this role means consistently booking qualified meetings that translate into real, high-value opportunities.

Accountabilities:

  • Execute high-volume outbound prospecting campaigns using cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn sequences against defined target accounts within the Eastern US.
  • Respond rapidly to inbound leads including demo requests, webinar sign-ups, trade show contacts, and live chat inquiries, ensuring strict adherence to speed-to-lead expectations.
  • Research and build detailed account intelligence using sales tools to identify stakeholders, buying committees, trigger events, and timing signals.
  • Engage in real-time conversations via chat platforms, qualifying prospects and routing them effectively to next steps.
  • Conduct structured discovery to assess fit, authority, urgency, and need before booking qualified meetings for Account Executives.
  • Partner with Account Executives to align on territory strategy, account targeting, and pipeline development priorities.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records in Salesforce and manage sequencing activity in HubSpot to ensure pipeline visibility and data integrity.
  • Continuously refine messaging and outreach based on feedback loops with marketing and sales teams.
  • Meet or exceed key performance indicators including activity levels, response times, meetings booked, and pipeline contribution.

  • Requirements:

    • 2+ years of experience in Sales Development or a similar B2B SaaS outbound role with a proven track record of generating qualified pipeline.
    • Strong cold-calling skills with confidence engaging senior decision-makers and handling objections effectively.
    • Demonstrated resilience, consistency, and strong work ethic in high-volume, target-driven environments.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling outreach and conduct professional discovery conversations.
    • Ability to balance inbound responsiveness with proactive outbound prospecting without loss of performance.
    • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce and sequencing tools like HubSpot.
    • Familiarity with sales intelligence platforms (e.g., ZoomInfo or similar tools) is highly valued.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple sequences, accounts, and priorities simultaneously.
    • Self-driven mindset with the ability to work independently in a remote, structured, performance-oriented environment.
    • Interest or exposure to public safety, fire, EMS, or government-related sectors is a plus.

    • Benefits:

      • Competitive base salary of $60,000 USD.
      • Performance-based compensation opportunities aligned with pipeline and meeting targets.
      • Fully remote role within the United States.
      • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
      • 401(k) retirement plan with employer contributions.
      • Flexible PTO and supportive remote work culture.
      • Technology and home office stipends to support remote productivity.
      • Opportunities for career growth within a high-growth SaaS organization serving mission-critical industries.
