Sales Development Representative
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sales Development Representative based in India.
This role is focused on driving early-stage pipeline growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential customers in a fast-paced B2B SaaS environment. You will act as the first point of contact for prospects, introducing solutions that help development teams improve software quality and testing efficiency at scale. The position requires a strong mix of outbound prospecting, relationship building, and consultative communication to generate qualified sales opportunities. You will collaborate closely with Account Executives to convert leads into meaningful business conversations and scheduled meetings. Operating in a remote-first, high-growth tech environment, you will engage with global prospects while managing high outreach volumes. This is an impactful role where consistency, curiosity, and communication skills directly influence revenue pipeline creation.
Accountabilities:
- Identify and engage new prospects through inbound leads and outbound prospecting across assigned territories.
- Conduct high-volume outreach via calls and emails to generate interest and build initial relationships.
- Qualify leads and serve as the first detailed point of contact for potential customers.
- Communicate product value propositions clearly and position solutions through consultative selling approaches.
- Schedule qualified meetings, demos, webinars, and events for Account Executives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all activities, conversations, and pipeline data in CRM systems.
- Collaborate closely with sales teams to refine targeting strategies and improve conversion rates.
- Build strong relationships with prospects by understanding their needs and identifying opportunities.
- Consistently meet outreach, engagement, and meeting-generation targets in a performance-driven environment.
- 5 months to 2 years of experience in Sales Development, Business Development, or B2B outbound sales.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to perform high-volume outreach and manage multiple leads simultaneously.
- Strong business acumen with a proactive, self-driven, and results-oriented mindset.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, target-driven environments with evolving priorities.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and CRM discipline.
- Ability to build relationships over phone and email with a consultative approach.
- Strong teamwork mindset and ability to collaborate effectively with sales stakeholders.
- Interest in technology and SaaS solutions, particularly developer-focused products, is a plus.
