Position Summary

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for generating qualified opportunities among healthcare organizations seeking to expand connected care services. This role engages clinicians, administrators, and population health leaders to educate them on RPM, CCM, and related workflows, patient eligibility, and program impact.

You will serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients and directly influence KangarooHealth’s growth by building a compliant, high-quality pipeline of healthcare organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct targeted outbound outreach to healthcare organizations across multiple segments, including clinics, hospitals, FQHCs, health systems, and specialty groups.

  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads through structured discovery to understand organizational goals, clinical challenges, and operational readiness.

  • Develop a deep understanding of KangarooHealth’s RPM, CCM, RTM, PCM, GUIDE, and technology solutions to articulate our value proposition effectively.

  • Maintain high activity levels across email, phone, LinkedIn, conference outreach, and pre- and post-event outreach.

  • Book qualified meetings and support smooth handoffs to the sales executive.

  • Manage and update CRM records with exceptional accuracy.

  • Collaborate with Marketing to support campaign execution, nurture sequences, industry events, and targeted outreach lists.

  • Track performance metrics, including meetings scheduled, pipeline contribution, and engagement response rates.

  • Represent KangarooHealth’s brand with warmth, professionalism, and integrity.

Qualifications

Required

  • 4+ years of experience in SDR/BDR roles, healthcare operations, clinical coordination, patient engagement, or related fields.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to speak confidently with clinicians and administrative leaders.

  • Understanding of connected care programs such as CCM and RPM, or a strong willingness to learn.

  • Familiarity with CMS reimbursement, care management workflows, or value-based care concepts.

  • High-volume outreach discipline with an ability to personalize messaging.

  • Strong organizational skills and comfort using CRMs and sequencing tools (HubSpot experience preferred).

Preferred

  • Experience with RPM, CCM, PCM, RTM, or similar care delivery models.

  • Knowledge of CPT billing requirements and terminology.
    Background working with healthcare provider organizations.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base pay ($60,000) plus performance-based commission

  • Fully remote role
