Sales Director, Banking

You will drive enterprise level sales to banks and financial institutions to deliver digital asset solutions. You will achieve and exceed revenue targets by managing the end to end sales process from prospecting to negotiation and closing. You will build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including C suite, risk, compliance, and innovation teams. You will collaborate with cross functional teams to develop and execute go to market strategies and you will keep customer information up to date in the CRM. You will work cross functionally to ensure seamless delivery and account coverage.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed quarterly and yearly revenue targets within your region.
  • Drive new business with Tier 1 and Tier 2 banks, and other financial institutions and expand existing relationships.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process from prospecting, identify key use cases, business sponsors, and navigation to negotiation and closing.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite, risk, compliance, and innovation teams.
  • Collaborate closely with the BDR, GTM, and Product teams to develop and execute effective go-to-market strategies.
  • Accurately update and maintain customer information in Fireblocks’ CRM.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure seamless delivery and account coverage.

Requirements

  • Enterprise sales experience in software or institutional sales, selling into a relevant space such as financial services, blockchain, fintech
  • Proven success selling to banks, custodians, or large regulated financial institutions.
  • Strong understanding of banking procurement processes, including RFPs, compliance, and multi-stakeholder decision-making.
  • Exposure to or strong interest in digital assets, tokenization, and blockchain technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex sales cycles and build strategic, long-term client relationships.
  • Entrepreneurial and self-driven mindset with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical value into business outcomes.
