What you will do
As a Sales Director for Oracle’s flagship, industry-leading Data Platform, OCI and Applications you will lead, coach and empower a team of sales professionals to drive adoption and growth across multiple enterprise accounts.
- Manage a sales team, providing direction, leadership and motivation.
- Set objectives and review the performance of individuals and take action to ensure targets are met & recruit/induct new team members as required.
- Monitor and review individuals plans, forecasts and sales activities and ensure corrective action is taken as necessary.
- Drive strategic planning and execution across your team's territory and verticals.
- Lead account planning and opportunity management in collaboration with your team.
- Support your team in developing robust, qualified pipelines and achieving revenue targets.
- Serve as an executive sponsor and trusted advisor to key customers and partners.
- Work across Oracle ecosystems and alliances to build long-term customer capabilities.
- Promote a customer-centric and collaborative team culture aligned with Oracle’s values.
- Foster relationships with C-level executives and decision makers in key accounts.
- Communicate and reinforce Oracle's value proposition through unified multi-pillar offerings.
- Support the team to leverage Pre-Sales, Product Management and Global Business Units to support complex sales cycles.
- Ensure team execution of business development initiatives to increase pipeline and awareness of Oracle Technology and PaaS solutions.
- Develop team capabilities through coaching, mentoring and performance management.
- Travel as required.

- Strong knowledge of Cloud technologies and Digital Transformation experiences.

Manages and develops a team of sales representatives including recruiting, hiring, and training new reps on the Oracle sales process. May manage a Regional Manager or Branch Manager. Sells and promotes the sales of Oracle products to customers including negotiating price, other concessions and terms and conditions of the sale. Participates in strategic and tactical planning for the division. Builds working relationships with license, consulting and education field managers in the respective territory to develop joint account plans. Develops and execute a territory plan to maximize revenue. Generates and achieves monthly territory forecasts, and accurately predicts revenue on a monthly basis. Manages escalation. Conducts weekly progress meetings with sales team.
