The Sales Director is an IC role responsible for a specific territory (in our case agency or number of agencies) for the organisation. The ESD is responsible for creating and executing on a Go To Market (GMT) plan for their patch in order to achieve their revenue targets as set by the business. In addition to pipeline generation and closing business, the ESD has a wider responsibility to be a proactive voice in the marketplace. The ESD is responsible for proactively developing plans for a specific sector / area of expertise and is expected to be the voice of the business for this area.
What you'll be doing:
- Generate a GTM plan for their specific patch
- Develop and maintain solid relationships with target Agencies (and the Agency’s prospective clients), helping to manage, analyse and grow the pipeline
- Develop strong working relationships with CS and SE to ensure we maximise the network effect value of existing clients and deliver a first class experience to new clients onboarding with us
- Effectively communicate the InfoSum value proposition through proposals and presentations
- Qualify opportunities through open questioning and solidify the opportunity through multi stakeholder (strategic) selling
- Partner with prospective customers to understand their business needs and objectives
- Drive deals through the pipeline stages including commercial negotiation and closing techniques
- Accurately forecast and input all activities into Hubspot
- Hit annual revenue targets in line with the assigned patch
- Proactively use Linkedin and other networking tools to strengthen the voice of InfoSum in the market
- Present on podcasts / at events
- Understand category-specific landscapes and trends and proactively work with Marketing to develop thought leadership in the specific category
- Additional responsibilities as and when required by the business
Additional company wide requirements
- Understand and comply with InfoSum’s security and privacy policies, and be attentive to information security at all times in the performance of duties for InfoSum
What you'll need:
- Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets
- Previous experience as a sales executive / sales manager / sales director
- Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organisation, including executive and C-level
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of our products and services
- Proven ability to position products against competitors
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills

- Ensuring accuracy in forecasting
- Generation of sector specific content and being the voice of the sector for the region
