Sales Engineer (Oil & Gas)

Basic information:

  • Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
  • Basic UP $6000
  • Location: Tuas

Job Scope:

  • Provide technical product support by understanding customer requirements and specifications.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities through prospecting and negotiations.
  • Prepare quotations and proposals, and negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure timely order fulfilment and customer support.
  • Conduct sales visits, manage key accounts, and expand market presence within assigned territories.
  • Participate in trade shows, seminars, and presentations to promote products and solutions.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify trends and business opportunities.
  • Travel extensively within assigned regions to support sales activities and customer engagement.

Additional Information:

  • Degree or Diploma in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
  • 7–10 years of sales or engineering experience in Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, or Precision Engineering sectors.
  • Knowledge of pumps, compressors, downhole equipment, wellhead equipment, and valve sealing/wear components.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and results-oriented with strong planning abilities.
  • Possess a valid Class 3 driving licence; own transport preferred.
