Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Sales Engineer to expand our market presence in the oil & gas industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of polymer coating systems, proven sales experience, and the ability to develop long-term relationships with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the oil & gas, petrochemical, marine, and industrial sectors.
  • Promote and sell polymer coating products and solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and tender submissions.
  • Conduct product presentations, technical discussions, and site visits with customers.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the company's growth strategy.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, customer records, and activity reports.
  • Provide after-sales support and technical assistance where required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, Industrial).
  • Minimum 2 years of sales, business development, or technical sales experience in the oil & gas industry.
  • Proven experience in polymer coating, protective coating, corrosion protection, lining systems, or related surface protection technologies.
  • Strong understanding of oil & gas industry standards, project cycles, and procurement processes.
  • Possess a valid driving licence and own a car for customer visits and business travel.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple customer accounts.

Experience

  • Experience dealing with refineries, petrochemical plants, shipyards, or tank terminal operators.
  • Knowledge of corrosion prevention, asset integrity management, and industrial maintenance solutions.
  • Familiarity with coating specifications, inspection requirements, and industry standards.
  • Experience preparing technical proposals and participating in tender processes.
  • Established network of contacts within the oil & gas sector will be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
