What you will do:
• Sell company products and professional services in a competitive environment
• Interact with consulting engineers regarding company specifiable products
• Develop and maintain resource information on products, suppliers, subcontractors, government requirements, etc.
• Fill out sales order entries and estimating reports
• When requested, attend project scheduled and unscheduled meetings as a representative of the company
• Track manufacturing process and update customers when needed
• Prepare and track project change orders
• Maintain relationships and attend outside functions with key accounts
• Respond promptly to customer needs, solicits customer feedback to improve service and maintain confidentiality
• Speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations
• Prioritize and plan work activities
• Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and monitor own work to ensure quality
• Perform all other duties assigned
Demonstrated Skills:
• High level of organizational skills
• Basic mathematical skills; whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percentage and to draw and interpret graphs
Education & Knowledge:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or 1-2 of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Basic knowledge of sales procedures and filing systems
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
• Knowledge of basic electrical plans and specifications.
