About the Role

Are you passionate about aviation and driven by building strong commercial relationships? We are looking for an enthusiastic and results-oriented Sales Executive to support the commercial success of a leading international airline across the Nordic region.

Based in Copenhagen, you will work closely with the Sales Manager as part of a dedicated two-person commercial team responsible for representing and growing the airline’s presence in the market. Together, you will drive sales initiatives, strengthen partnerships, identify new business opportunities, and help achieve ambitious revenue targets.

This is a highly visible role that combines account management, business development, market analysis, and stakeholder engagement within the dynamic aviation industry.

Key Responsibilities

As a Sales Executive, you will support and execute the airline’s commercial strategy throughout the Nordic region by:

  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, corporate accounts, consolidators, and other key industry partners
  • Identifying new business opportunities and actively contributing to passenger and revenue growth
  • Supporting sales activities, including client meetings, presentations, workshops, and commercial negotiations
  • Managing and following up on commercial agreements, proposals, contracts, and account plans
  • Monitoring market developments, competitor activities, and industry trends to identify growth opportunities
  • Preparing sales reports, benchmark reports, performance analyses, forecasts, and market insights
  • Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, including marketing, reservations, revenue management, distribution, and operations teams
  • Representing the airline at trade shows, networking events, industry forums, and training sessions
  • Supporting the implementation and maintenance of commercial agreements, fare structures, and promotional activities
  • Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through proactive account management and relationship building

You will act as an important link between the airline, its commercial partners, and internal stakeholders, helping to ensure the successful execution of sales initiatives and long-term business growth.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Aviation, Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in sales, account management, business development, or a similar commercial role
  • Experience within the aviation, airline, travel, or tourism industry is highly preferred
  • Strong commercial mindset with a proactive and results-driven approach
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to translate data into actionable commercial insights
  • Self-motivated team player who thrives in a fast-paced international environment
  • Experience working with CRM systems; knowledge of GDS platforms such as Amadeus is an advantage
  • Fluent in Danish and English, both written and spoken
  • Knowledge of one or more Nordic languages is considered a strong asset
  • Must possess a valid permanent residence and work permit for Denmark
  • Willingness to travel within the Nordic region when required
