Sales Executive

Job Summary

Drive sales growth by managing accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and executing sales and marketing strategies within the electronics industry.

Responsibilities

  • Manage existing customer accounts to achieve sales revenue, profitability, and growth targets
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand market presence
  • Plan and conduct customer visits and meetings to provide technical support and strengthen relationships
  • Coordinate and participate in industry trade shows to increase market reach and brand visibility
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to penetrate new markets effectively
  • Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify business opportunities and inform strategy
  • Maintain and update sales progress reports to track performance and inform management
  • Ensure timely collection of payments and manage credit control to maintain healthy cash flow
  • Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the electronics industry
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English for liaising with overseas counterparts
  • Resourceful, customer-focused, and results-driven approach to sales
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships
  • Self-motivated and sales-driven mindset to achieve targets independently
  • Possession of own vehicle is advantageous for business travel
  • Willingness to travel overseas for business purposes
