Sales Executive – Cybersecurity Solutions

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Sales Executive is a high-impact, client-facing role responsible for driving new business growth and expanding existing accounts for Insyghts Security's full portfolio of cybersecurity and information security services. This is a hunter-first role suited for someone who is commercially driven, self-motivated, and capable of engaging confidently with IT decision-makers, CISOs, and C-suite executives. The ideal candidate understands the cybersecurity landscape well enough to hold credible technical conversations, and is skilled at translating complex security challenges into compelling business solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Proactively identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities across target sectors including government, financial services, healthcare, and enterprise

• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and qualification through proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure

• Build and maintain a robust pipeline using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), with accurate forecasting and activity records

• Develop a deep understanding of client security challenges and map Insyghts Security's service offerings to their specific needs

• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and Statements of Work (SOW)in collaboration with technical teams

• Represent Insyghts Security at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to build brand presence and generate leads

• Develop and maintain trusted long-term relationships with clients, technology partners, and channel ecosystems

• Collaborate with consulting and engineering teams to craft tailored solutions and ensure smooth client onboarding

• Provide accurate revenue forecasting, pipeline reporting, and market feedback to leadership

• Stay current on cybersecurity industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging client needs to refine messaging and positioning

• Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets as agreed with leadership

TECHNICAL SKILLS &KNOWLEDGE

• Cybersecurity Services Knowledge: MSSP, SOC-as-a-Service, penetration testing, GRC consulting, cloud security, endpoint protection

• Sales Tools: CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent), MS Office 365,virtual presentation tools

• Proposal& Solutioning: Ability to scope services, develop SOWs, and co-create tailored proposals with technical teams

• Market Awareness: Understanding of key vendors (Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Proofpoint, CrowdStrike, Microsoft) and how they fit client environments

• Sales Methodologies: MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger, or Consultative Selling frameworks(advantageous)

• Digital Prospecting: LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or equivalent lead generation platforms

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field. Candidates without a degree but with a strong, verifiable track record in cybersecurity or technology sales will be considered.

Experience

Minimum 3–5years of B2B sales experience, ideally in cybersecurity, IT managed services, or technology solutions. A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets is essential.

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS

  • CompTIA Security+ (Advantageous)
  • Certified Sales Professional (CSP)
