Sales Executive
Job Summary
Drive business growth by identifying and developing new customers in industrial baking and food manufacturing sectors. Lead sales efforts to achieve targets through strategic negotiation, technical consultation, and effective account management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored MIWE oven system solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new customers within industrial bakeries, central kitchens, hotel groups, and food manufacturers to expand market presence
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform sales strategies and identify growth opportunities
- Generate and follow up on sales leads to build a robust sales pipeline
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets by preparing accurate quotations, proposals, and tender submissions
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to maximize revenue and secure long-term partnerships
- Understand client production requirements and recommend appropriate MIWE oven systems to meet operational needs
- Deliver product presentations and equipment demonstrations to effectively communicate technical benefits
- Coordinate with technical and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction
- Maintain and update CRM records to track sales activities and customer interactions
- Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to management for informed decision-making
- Manage relationships with existing customers by providing after-sales support and ensuring ongoing satisfaction
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience in industrial baking equipment, commercial kitchen equipment, or food processing machinery with proven success in meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Experience managing B2B client relationships
- Willingness to travel within the SEA region to support customer engagement and project delivery
- Possess a valid driving license for regional travel
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems to manage sales processes and reporting
- Fluent in English to effectively communicate with clients and internal teams
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Familiarity with industrial ovens, proofers, rack ovens, deck ovens, or bakery production lines, including the ability to interpret technical specifications and layout drawings
- Experience selling European equipment brands within the bakery industry
- Existing professional network in the bakery sector
- Background in bakery production or food manufacturing to enhance technical consultation and customer understanding
- Additional local language skills to support regional client communication 🌟
