Commercial and Leasing Broker — Wellington

The Opportunity

Stonewood Group is a New Zealand-based investment and operating group with a growing commercial property portfolio in Wellington. We have approximately 30 leasing deals to move — and we need someone who can make them happen.

This is a dedicated sales and leasing role. No property management. Just deals: prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing. If you are energised by targets, comfortable with ambiguity, and ready to build something, this is your role.

What You Will Do

Drive leasing enquiries and convert prospects to signed agreements across the Wellington commercial portfolio
Manage the full deal pipeline — from initial contact through to lease execution
Build and maintain relationships with tenants, landlords, and commercial brokers
Use LinkedIn, Instagram, and AI tools to generate leads and market available properties
Report directly to senior leadership on deal progress and pipeline status

What We Are Looking For

Minimum 1 year of experience in property — ideally commercial agency, leasing, or sales
Confident communicator who closes — not a property manager in disguise
Strong on social media: you know how to use Instagram and LinkedIn to generate real interest
Comfortable with AI tools and digital-first ways of working
Hungry, adaptable, and ready to do things differently
