Sales Manager Job Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and departmental sales goals
- Train and develop Sales Consultants on product knowledge, sales processes, and customer experience standards
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to maximize dealership profitability
- Work directly with customers to assist in vehicle selection, negotiations, and closing opportunities
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer guidelines, and regulatory requirements
- Partner with the Finance and Service departments to create an outstanding customer experience
- Review sales reports, metrics, and forecasts to drive business decisions
- Manage lead follow-up processes and support business development efforts
