Sales Manager (Construction Projects/ Fluid Systems/ Upstream)

Responsibilities

· Identifyand pursue new capital project opportunities in the upstream oil and gas market,especially floating production projects such as FPSOs, FSOs and FSUs.

· Buildstrong relationships with owners, operators, EPCs, shipyards, OEMs, package vendors,and other project influencers.

· Engagecustomers early in the project lifecycle (pre-FEED, FEED, specification, and tenderstages) to improve positioning and win rates.

· Promotethe company’s products, solutions, and services to support project specificationsand commercial success.

· Leadand manage the project sales pipeline, ensuring high-quality opportunity development,regular follow-up, and accurate forecasting.

· Guideand coach sales associates to improve pursuit effectiveness, sales discipline, andexecution quality.

· Coordinateclosely with internal teams including applications, engineering, proposals, customerservice, operations, and management to support project pursuit activities.

· Prepareand deliver high-impact commercial presentations, value propositions, and executive-levelengagement materials.

· Monitormarket developments, competitor activity, and project movements and develop strategiesto address competitive pressures and identify new business opportunities.

· Supportstrategic account planning and long-term business development initiatives to expandmarket presence in the offshore upstream segment.

· Peoplemanagement include recruitment, orientation, retention, well-being, and disciplinaryaction.

Requirements

· Degreein Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related discipline.

· Atleast 10 years of experience in project sales within the upstream oil and gas industry,particularly in capital projects.

· Strongindustry network with floating production players (FPSO, FSU), oil and gas owners,operators, EPCs, shipyards, and key project stakeholders across Singapore andthe APAC region.

· Proactive“hunter” mindset with the drive to pursue and convert opportunities.

· Backgroundin instrumentation products and services is strongly preferred.

· Goodunderstanding of the oil and gas project lifecycle—from front-end engineering anddesign through to procurement, construction, and commissioning.
