Responsibilities:
Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the MICE sector.
Build and nurture relationships with key clients, event organizers, and stakeholders.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue goals.
Promote a comprehensive range of MICE services, including venue rental, catering, and technological solutions.
Stay informed about industry trends and developments to uncover new opportunities.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of events.
Assist clients in planning and executing events, from initial inquiry to post-event evaluation.
Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for efficient event delivery.
Serve as the primary contact for client needs, ensuring their requirements are met effectively.
Conduct site visits, presentations, and proposals to engage potential clients.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms in accordance with company policies.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and forecasts within the CRM system.
Provide regular updates to senior management regarding sales performance, trends, and growth opportunities.
Analyze market conditions and competitor activities to offer strategic insights for business development.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in the MICE or hospitality sector, demonstrating a successful sales track record.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication abilities.
In-depth understanding of the MICE industry, including trends and client requirements.
Proven skill in building long-term relationships and offering client-focused solutions.
Proficient in CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Strategic thinker capable of working independently while fostering teamwork.
