We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager todrive market development and sales growth in Singapore and the wider SoutheastAsia region.
Role Overview
The Sales Manager will be responsible for promoting andselling Ability Robotics’ rehabilitation robotic products to hospitals,rehabilitation centers, eldercare institutions, clinics, distributors, andhealthcare partners. The ideal candidate should have experience sellingrehabilitation equipment, medical devices, physiotherapy products, orhealthcare technology solutions.
This role requires strong knowledge of the rehabilitationmarket, proven B2B sales capability, and the ability to communicate withclinicians, hospital administrators, procurement teams, and business partners.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development
Develop and execute sales strategies for rehabilitationrobotic products in Singapore and selected regional markets.
Identify and approach potential customers, includinghospitals, rehabilitation centers, nursing homes, private clinics, andcommunity care providers.
Build and manage a strong sales pipeline from leadgeneration to deal closing.
Achieve sales targets, revenue goals, and market expansionobjectives.
Customer Engagement
Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and clinicalvalue discussions with physiotherapists, occupational therapists,rehabilitation physicians, hospital management, and procurement teams.
Understand customer needs and propose suitablerehabilitation robotics solutions.
Coordinate product trials, pilot projects, and clinicalevaluation activities.
Maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders,clinical users, and institutional decision-makers.
Market and Channel Development
Identify market opportunities, customer pain points,competitor activities, and industry trends in rehabilitation robotics andmedical rehabilitation equipment.
Support the development of distributor partnerships andchannel sales strategies where needed.
Represent the company at exhibitions, conferences, hospitalvisits, and industry events.
Internal Collaboration
Work closely with product, clinical, engineering, andmanagement teams to provide customer feedback and market insights.
Support marketing material preparation, tender documents,proposals, quotations, and sales reports.
Assist in developing localized sales messages, productpositioning, and go-to-market plans.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, BiomedicalEngineering, Rehabilitation Science, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy,Medical Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience in rehabilitationequipment, medical devices, hospital equipment, physiotherapy products,robotics, or healthcare technology.
Familiarity with the rehabilitation market in Singapore,including hospitals, rehab centers, eldercare institutions, and healthcareprocurement processes.
Existing network with physiotherapists, rehabilitationphysicians, hospital decision-makers, or healthcare distributors is highlypreferred.
Strong ability to explain clinical value, product benefits,and return on investment to different stakeholders.
Experience in product demonstrations, clinical trials,tenders, and institutional sales processes.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-buildingskills.
Self-driven, result-oriented, and comfortable working in anearly-stage or fast-growing technology company.
Fluent in English. Mandarin or other regional languageswould be an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience selling robotic rehabilitation systems, gaittraining systems, balance training devices, exoskeletons, physiotherapyequipment, or assistive technologies.
Understanding of rehabilitation workflows in stroke, spinalcord injury, orthopedic rehabilitation, elderly care, or neurologicalrehabilitation.
Experience working with hospitals, public healthcareinstitutions, community care organizations, or government-funded healthcareprojects.
Experience developing Southeast Asian markets would be aplus.
