Summary of the Role

Leads the Terumo Aortic sales team, developing and executing sales strategies to achieve or exceed revenue targets by setting goals, coaching sales representatives, managing sales pipelines, analysing performance data, and building strong customer relationships to drive business growth

Key Functions / Responsibilities

  • Promotes and sells Terumo's products and services to meet or exceed sales targets.

  • Understand the customer objectives, buying criteria and decision-making processes to long term business partnerships

  • Develops, builds, and strengthens long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals.

  • Pursues leads, assesses needs and provides product services to maximize the benefits derived from products & services.

  • Promotes and establishes education of products & services.

  • Conducts market research including customers and competitors' activities.

  • Implement market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.

  • Coordinate the preparation of Sales proposals, tenders/bids, contracts and Account Management plans.

  • Coordinate, conduct and participate in Sales promotions, campaigns, events and displays.

  • Provide accurate and timely case information to facilitate efficient planning.

  • Coach sales representatives on the technical aspects of the organization's products and services; on marketing campaigns and sales promotions; on sales techniques, procedures, and standards that will help them achieve their sales targets.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in science, medical technology, medical engineering or similar required

  • At least 7 years of medical sales experience from medical device industry

  • 1-3 years of people managing experience

  • Ideally need someone who has experience in Aortic portfolio

  • Based in Bangkok but needs to cover upcountry

  • Good English communication skills: listening, reading, speaking, writing

  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
