Sales Operations Lead, Devices and Services
The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.
The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.
- Drive high-fidelity Pixel forecasts and new product launch projections using market dynamics, historical data, and AI-driven tools.
- Advise on quarterly and annual sales goals while monitoring performance to identify operational gaps and over achievements.
- Partner with regional demand planning, global sales operations, and country leads to align demand planning and supply management.
- Identify and deploy AI solutions and automation to streamline workflows and enhance global communication.
- Utilize SQL, modern spreadsheets, and advanced analytics to analyze sales data, identify trends, and directly inform business plans.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in go-to-market strategy, sales operations, strategy and operations, management consulting, finance, or program management.
- Experience with core business operations (e.g., annual business planning, headcount management, running business reviews, or target setting).
- Experience working with executive-level clients or stakeholders.
- Experience with data analysis, and generating data-driven insights.
Preferred qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in sales operations, business analysis, planning, or goal setting.
- Experience in Hardware, Consumer Electronics, or Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG).
- Experience with Google Sheets/Slides and SQL.
- Expertise in sales incentive structures and planning.
- Ability to analyze complex data and deliver strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, and ability to work in fluid environments.
