SebaKMT by Megger is looking for a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Representative (m/w/d) BU Water to develop and grow our Water business in France.

The key focus of this role is the French water segment, including water utilities, municipal operators, engineering companies, contractors, consultants and other stakeholders active in water network monitoring, leak detection and water infrastructure maintenance.

We are looking for a candidate who understands the French water market, has an existing network within the local water ecosystem, and is technically confident enough to demonstrate the practical value and USPs of SebaKMT / Megger devices and solutions directly to customers.

After a targeted onboarding phase, you can expect the following responsibilities:

  • Developing sales opportunities in the French water market, with a focus on utilities, municipalities, network operators and relevant contractors

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders in the French water ecosystem

  • Identifying customer needs and translating them into suitable SebaKMT / Megger solutions

  • Demonstrating products and solutions in the field, including leak detection, network monitoring and related water applications

  • Explaining the technical and commercial benefits of the offered devices and solutions, including their USPs versus competing technologies

  • Supporting tenders, offers and customer-specific proposals from both a technical and commercial perspective

  • Planning and delivering product presentations, demonstrations and customer training sessions

  • Cooperating closely with the Water Business Unit, local Megger France team and technical support functions

  • Participating in relevant French trade fairs, conferences and industry events

Your profile:

  • Good knowledge of the French water segment and its key players

  • Existing contacts within the French water ecosystem, ideally with utilities, municipal operators, contractors, consultants or distributors

  • Experience in sales of technical equipment, systems or solutions, preferably in the water, gas, utilities or infrastructure sector

  • Technical understanding and willingness to actively demonstrate products and solutions to customers

  • Ability to explain technical advantages and customer value in a clear and convincing way

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Customer- and solution-oriented mindset

  • Self-motivated, reliable and able to work independently

  • Good command of English

  • Confident use of Microsoft Office

  • Willingness to travel within France (30%)
