Sales Representative

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Commercial & Quotation Ownership

  • Own end-to-end RFQ and quotation process (BOM review, cost sourcing, pricing strategy, and submission)

  • Drive quote turnaround speed and accuracy to support sales conversion

  • Partner with Sales & Product teams to optimize pricing, margin, and win rate

  • Actively follow up on quotes to improve conversion and close opportunities

🔹 Customer & Account Support

  • Serve as key interface for assigned BDG accounts, ensuring responsive and professional communication

  • Identify new opportunities within existing customers (cross-sell / expansion)

  • Be a hunter to get new Customers and compile list of prospective leads from various sources and make cold calls.

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships through proactive engagement, not just reactive support

🔹 Supplier & Internal Coordination

  • Work with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, availability, and lead time

  • Coordinate with Sales, Product management, and Operations on complex RFQs, alternates, and NPI projects where applicable

  • Manage ECN/EOL, allocation challenges, and ensure continuity of supply

🔹 Execution & Order Management

  • Ensure accurate order processing, backlog management, and contract pricing (if applicable) updates

  • Monitor delivery schedules and resolve issues related to logistics, quality, and RMA

  • Handle credit/debit notes and support issue resolution across stakeholders

🔹 Performance & Reporting

  • Track quote-to-order conversion, pricing trends, and customer activity

  • Support Sales with pipeline visibility, forecasting and reporting

  • Contribute to BDG revenue targets through measurable KPI performance

What We’re Looking For

🔹 Experience & Skills

  • 3–7 years’ experience in inside sales / quotation in electronics distribution (IP&E preferred)

  • Strong background in RFQ handling, pricing, BOM management, and supplier coordination

  • Sales Driven, Good attitude, diligent, attention to the details and willing to learn;

  • Able to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment;

  • Fluency in spoken English and Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin speaking Associates);

  • Experience in Interconnect, Passives and Electromechanical markets preferred

  • Comfortable working in target-driven, fast-paced environment

  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work across Sales, Product, Suppliers, and Customers

  • Clear, concise communication with commercial awareness

🔹 Tools & Capability

  • Proficient in Excel, quoting tools, and ERP systems

  • Ability to manage large BOMs and complex data accurately
