The Role

You will be the technical backbone of our sales cycle. Working alongside Account Executives, you will own the technical win: discovery, solution design, demos, proofs of concept (PoCs), RFP responses, and security reviews. Our deals involve regulated enterprises with real integration complexity, including core banking systems, data warehouses, SMS aggregators, and strict compliance requirements. You need to be credible in front of a CMO and a security architect in the same meeting.

This is not a demo\-script role. You will design architectures, write SQL against real data, defend our platform in technical evaluations, and shape how Dengage wins in the region.

Key Responsibilities

- Technical ownership of the sales cycle: Partner with Account Executives as the lead technical resource from the first discovery call to contract signature.

- Discovery and needs analysis: Run deep\-dive sessions to map prospects' business objectives, marketing maturity, data architecture, and existing stack (CDP, CRM, data warehouse, CPaaS providers).

- Solution design: Architect tailored solutions on the Dengage platform covering data ingestion, segmentation, journey orchestration, and channel delivery, with clear ROI framing.

- Demos and PoCs: Build, maintain, and present customized demo environments and proof\-of\-concept implementations against prospect use cases. You own the sandbox environment with realistic data, working journeys, and polished scenarios.

- RFP and RFI leadership: Own technical responses for RFPs and RFIs, including compliance matrices, architecture diagrams, and integration specifications.

- Security and compliance reviews: Lead responses to security questionnaires and handle data residency, deployment models (cloud, on\-prem, hybrid), and regulatory questions from IT and InfoSec teams, particularly in banking and government.

- Technical objection handling: Address integration, performance, deliverability, and architecture concerns directly and confidently.

- Handover and feedback loops: Ensure clean transitions from Sales to Implementation and Customer Success. Feed market and competitive intelligence back to the Product team.

Requirements

- 5+ years in Pre\-Sales, Solutions Architecture, or Sales Engineering in SaaS. MarTech, CDP, CRM, or marketing automation experience is strongly preferred.

- Working SQL skills. You will use SQL for segmentation logic, data validation, and demo preparation. This is tested in our interview process.

- Solid understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, batch data transfer, and database concepts.

- Familiarity with the messaging ecosystem: SMS aggregators and CPaaS providers, WhatsApp Business API, RCS, and email deliverability fundamentals (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, sender reputation).

- Understanding of mobile and web SDK integration models for iOS, Android, and web push.

- Experience selling into or supporting regulated industries like banking, insurance, telecom, and government, including security questionnaires and compliance discussions.
