Sales Specialist (Contract)
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sales Specialist (Contract) based in Canada.
You will join a fast-growing, performance-driven sales environment focused on expanding access to flexible financing solutions across a wide network of merchants and customers. In this role, you will play a key part in driving revenue growth by building relationships, identifying opportunities, and converting prospects into active users of financing or credit solutions. You will operate in a fully remote setting while engaging with both merchants and borrowers depending on business needs. The role requires a strong entrepreneurial mindset, resilience in a target-driven environment, and the ability to communicate value-driven solutions effectively. You will collaborate closely with team members, leverage CRM tools, and continuously refine your sales approach through coaching and feedback. This is a high-impact contract role suited for individuals who thrive in competitive, results-oriented environments.
Accountabilities:
- Initiate and maintain relationships with merchants and/or borrowers to identify and develop new sales opportunities
- Drive acquisition and conversion targets aligned with business growth objectives
- Engage in outbound and inbound sales activities to promote financing and credit solutions
- Collaborate with internal team members to share insights, strategies, and best practices
- Utilize CRM systems to manage leads, track pipeline activity, and ensure accurate reporting
- Apply strong business acumen to understand customer needs and tailor appropriate solutions
- Maintain high levels of integrity while ensuring clients receive suitable and compliant offerings
- Continuously improve sales performance through coaching, feedback, and self-directed learning
- Operate independently with a proactive approach to problem-solving and opportunity generation
- 2+ years of sales experience with a proven track record preferred; recent graduates with strong motivation for sales will also be considered
- Experience working in target-driven or commission-based environments is an asset
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional business approach
- Highly organized with strong time management and ability to handle multiple priorities
- Comfortable working independently in a remote and fast-paced environment
- Strong motivation to meet and exceed sales targets consistently
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn new tools and systems
- Entrepreneurial mindset with resilience and a proactive attitude toward challenges
- Commission-based compensation with potential annual earnings of $50,000 to $60,000 CAD
