Strong client relationships begin with seamless experiences behind the scenes. As a Sales Support, Contract Specialist at Global Payments, you'll play an important role in creating those experiences by ensuring agreements, orders and client requests move efficiently from opportunity to execution.

You'll join a collaborative team that works across Sales, Customer Success, Legal and Accounting to create positive outcomes for clients and colleagues. This role offers the opportunity to develop expertise in contract management, sales operations and the higher education technology landscape while building relationships across the business.

In this role, you’ll drive accuracy, efficiency and consistency throughout the sales and contract lifecycle. You'll create value by strengthening client relationships, improving operational effectiveness and ensuring teams have the information and resources they need to deliver exceptional experiences. Your work will contribute directly to client satisfaction, business growth and the future of commerce.

What you'll own

  • Drive successful contract renewals by partnering with internal teams to strengthen client agreements and create long-term client value.

  • Create efficient sales and contract processes that accelerate turnaround times and improve the client experience.

  • Influence business outcomes by ensuring contracts, pricing information and client documentation are accurate, complete and delivered on time.

  • Build trusted partnerships across Sales, Customer Success, Legal and Accounting teams to create seamless experiences for clients and colleagues.

  • Strengthen operational performance by managing quotes, opportunities and order requests with accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Create visibility into business activity by leveraging Salesforce data, reporting and insights to inform decisions and improve efficiency.

  • Enhance team effectiveness by developing documentation, resources and best practices that enable consistent execution across teams.

  • Deliver exceptional client experiences by resolving inquiries, facilitating order processing and creating confidence throughout the purchasing journey.

What you bring

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree.

  • A proactive, self-driven mindset with strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

  • Confidence communicating with clients and colleagues through phone, email and written communication.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Experience building relationships and collaborating with stakeholders across different teams and levels of the organization.

  • Sound judgment and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate challenges and identify effective solutions.

  • Experience with Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is a plus.
