Sales Support Executive
The incumbent will provide a proactive and comprehensive service to Internal and External customers in all aspects of the Company's import and export freight forwarding services.
Responsibilities:
- Receive requests to execute shipments and follow up with local/overseas product teams to make bookings
- To conduct follow-up on the shipment status to be able to update the clients accordingly
- Obtain rates from Crane offices/vendors and prepare costing sheets and quotations
- Manage and grow business with our House Accounts
- Support Sales Team in providing rate/service requests and support them on shipment related matters
- To be able to provide freight solutions and propose to clients.
- Escalate shipment issues and help with resolution
Requirements:
- Minimum GCE 'O' level / NITEC / Diploma in Relevant Discipline
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in similar positions and solid understanding of air and ocean processes
- Possess work experience in freight forwarding industry
- Good working knowledge of MS Office applications – Outlook, Excel, Word
- Meticulous, organized, and willing to go the extra mile to deliver excellent service to the client
