Sales Support Executive

The incumbent will provide a proactive and comprehensive service to Internal and External customers in all aspects of the Company's import and export freight forwarding services.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive requests to execute shipments and follow up with local/overseas product teams to make bookings
  • To conduct follow-up on the shipment status to be able to update the clients accordingly
  • Obtain rates from Crane offices/vendors and prepare costing sheets and quotations
  • Manage and grow business with our House Accounts
  • Support Sales Team in providing rate/service requests and support them on shipment related matters
  • To be able to provide freight solutions and propose to clients.
  • Escalate shipment issues and help with resolution

Requirements:

  • Minimum GCE 'O' level / NITEC / Diploma in Relevant Discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in similar positions and solid understanding of air and ocean processes
  • Possess work experience in freight forwarding industry
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office applications – Outlook, Excel, Word
  • Meticulous, organized, and willing to go the extra mile to deliver excellent service to the client
