This position reports to:
Sales Manager__
In this role, you will support the assigned sales organization and customers throughout the proposal process. As a key technical resource, you will provide expert guidance on ABB products and solutions, prepare technical and commercial offers, determine solution costs, and develop final documentation. You will work closely with sales teams and customers to identify the most suitable and cost-effective solutions, support technical presentations and negotiations, and contribute to achieving sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction targets. Additionally, you will analyze customer needs, support risk assessment activities, and help drive business growth through effective solutions and application sales engineering.

This role is reporting to the Sales Manager in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Main stakeholders are sales organization, customers, FES specialists, global Sales Specialists, Marketing Manager, and internal cross-functional teams (including risk review and business unit stakeholders).
Key Responsibilities:
Offering technical advice and solutions on inquiries from customers, channels, and Sales Specialists about ABB products, systems, and applications
Performing analytic and diagnostic studies to determine the optimal technical solution to meet customer needs and address complex inquiries
Developing and maintaining new sales opportunities
Resolving customer issues; contributing to achievement of targets on orders, NPS, and profitable growth
Supporting the Sales organization in defining cost-effective technical solutions
Preparing competitive technical and commercial offers
Ensuring achievement of budget goals across assigned product groups and markets, including volume and profitability targets

Qualifications:
You are immersed in solution and application sales engineering methodologies and the industrial automation and energy systems market
You have 3–5 years of experience in technical sales support, proposal engineering, or application engineering, ideally as a Technical Sales Engineer or Proposal Engineer within electrical systems, automation solutions, or industrial products
You possess strong knowledge of MS Office Package and technical offer preparation processes
You are passionate about customer-focused problem solving and cross-functional collaboration
You hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
You are at ease communicating in English
