Salesforce Applications Engineer

You will design, build, and maintain scalable solutions within the Salesforce environment to support internal operational systems. You will develop custom functionality using Lightning, Apex, and Visualforce, implement integrations, configure secure platform settings, respond to incidents as part of an on-call rotation, and use AI-assisted tools to accelerate development while maintaining code quality.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop applications, configurations, and integrations within Salesforce
  • Build and maintain custom functionality using Salesforce Lightning Apex and Visualforce
  • Monitor system reliability and respond to operational issues through on-call participation and incident resolution
  • Translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce technical solutions and integrations
  • Implement and maintain secure Salesforce configurations including user permissions custom objects validation rules and automation
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate creation of Apex code Flows and Salesforce metadata
  • Investigate and resolve issues reported by business teams and implement scalable fixes

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience building and maintaining Salesforce environments supporting enterprise-scale systems
  • Experience developing Salesforce applications using Lightning Apex and Visualforce
  • Ability to design test debug package and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions with clear documentation
  • Experience implementing integrations between Salesforce and internal or third-party systems
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration tools including custom objects Flows validation rules and platform security controls
  • Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Cursor) to accelerate development while maintaining code quality
