Salesforce QA Lead
The QA Lead will play a pivotal role in leading and mentoring QA teams, defining QA strategies, and ensuring the highest quality standards for Salesforce solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce ecosystems, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Define and execute QA strategies for Salesforce projects, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
- Establish QA standards, templates, and best practices for comprehensive Salesforce testing.
- Lead and mentor QA engineers, providing guidance and support throughout testing phases.
- Participate in sprint planning, story grooming, and release planning to ensure efficient QA processes.
- Prepare detailed test plans, scenarios, and cases for Salesforce features, covering functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Manage test execution across multiple releases and environments, ensuring thorough coverage.
- Implement Salesforce test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Provar, and Katalon, and integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Lead defect management, conducting triage calls and driving resolution with development and product teams.
- Maintain QA metrics and dashboards, tracking defect density, test coverage, and cycle time.
- Collaborate closely with Salesforce developers, admins, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure aligned QA efforts.
- 7-10+ years of QA experience, with 3+ years as a QA Lead in Salesforce ecosystems.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, Apex triggers, flows, validation rules, and Lightning components.
- Experience with test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, and Zephyr.
- Proficiency in automation testing, with a background in tools like Selenium and Provar.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills, with the ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality Salesforce solutions.
- Experience in large-scale enterprise Salesforce implementations is preferred.
- Knowledge of CI/CD automation tools like Copado and Gearset is an asset.
- Salesforce certifications, including Administrator (ADM 201), Platform App Builder, and Quality Engineer, are advantageous.
- A proven track record of successful QA leadership and strategy implementation.
