The Sampling Tailor is responsible for stitching garment samples as per\nspecifications provided by the Design, Merchandising, and Product Development\nteams. The candidate should have strong garment construction knowledge and the\nability to operate multiple sewing machines.

Key Responsibilities<\/span>

• Stitch development, fit, pre\-production, and buyer samples as\n per requirements.<\/span>

• Interpret patterns, measurement charts, and technical\n specifications.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Ensure sample garments are stitched accurately and within\n timelines.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Suggest construction improvements for better garment quality\n and fit.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Coordinate with Pattern Master, Designers, and Merchandisers\n during sample development.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Perform alterations and corrections based on feedback.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Maintain quality standards during sample preparation.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Ensure proper handling of fabrics, trims, and accessories.<\/span>

  • Strong knowledge of garment construction and stitching\n techniques.<\/span>

  • Ability to operate:<\/span>

    • Single Needle (Singer) Machine<\/span><\/b>
      <\/li>
    • Overlock Machine<\/span><\/b>
      <\/li>
    • Flat lock Machine<\/span><\/b>
      <\/li><\/ul>
    • Understanding of patterns, measurements, and garment fit.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Knowledge of woven garment sampling processes.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Ability to stitch complete garments independently.<\/span>
