This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a SAP ABAP Consultant based in India.

This role offers the opportunity to work on complex SAP landscapes within global digital transformation projects, delivering scalable and high-performance enterprise solutions.
You will be responsible for designing and developing advanced SAP ABAP applications that support critical business processes across S/4HANA environments.
The position involves working with modern SAP technologies such as RAP, HANA, and CPI to build integrated and future-ready solutions.
You will collaborate closely with functional and technical teams to translate business requirements into robust technical designs.
A strong focus is placed on performance optimization, clean architecture, and high-quality development standards.
The environment is dynamic, remote-first, and focused on delivering impactful SAP innovations across international projects.

Accountabilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy custom ABAP programs, enhancements, and technical solutions within SAP systems.
  • Build scalable applications using the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP) in S/4HANA environments.
  • Develop and optimize CDS views, AMDPs, and perform advanced SQL-based development on SAP HANA.
  • Integrate SAP systems with external applications and cloud platforms using SAP CPI.
  • Create and maintain OData services to support SAP Fiori and other frontend applications.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants and stakeholders to ensure alignment between technical solutions and business requirements.
  • Support full lifecycle delivery including requirement analysis, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

    • Requirements:

    • 7+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development with strong hands-on technical expertise.
    • Solid experience working with SAP RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model).
    • Strong proficiency in SAP HANA development, including CDS views, AMDPs, and native SQL.
    • Practical experience with SAP CPI for system integration.
    • Good understanding of OData services, SAP Fiori, and SAP BTP (preferred).
    • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently in a remote and distributed team environment.
    • Excellent communication skills with experience collaborating in global delivery settings.
    • Strong commitment to delivering high-quality, timely technical solutions.
