SAP B1 Application Support Engineer

Role Overview

The SAP B1 The Junior SAP Business One Application Support Engineer supports the day-to-day operation of SAP Business One by helping users resolve issues, handling basic system configuration tasks, and assisting with reports, queries, and troubleshooting. The role is suitable for someone early in their career who wants to build hands-on experience in ERP application support, business processes, and customer-facing problem solving.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line and second-line application support for SAP Business One users, including issue logging, follow-up, and resolution within agreed timelines.
  • Troubleshoot basic application, data, and user issues, and escalate more complex cases to senior team members when needed.
  • Assist users with standard SAP Business One processes, module navigation, and basic how-to questions.
  • Support report changes and data checks using SQL queries and Crystal Reports.
  • Assist with system configuration, user setup, authorizations, and master data maintenance.
  • Support testing for patches, upgrades, and system changes before deployment.
  • Maintain clear documentation for issues, fixes, user guides, and support procedures.
  • Work closely with consultants, developers, and customers to ensure smooth support and system performance.
