SAP Basis Administrator – S/4HANA & System Support | Up to $5,500

Company Overview

Our client is a well-established organisation with enterprise-level systems supporting business operations. They are seeking a SAP Basis Administrator to manage SAP environments, ensure system stability, and support ongoing infrastructure and system enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

SAP System Administration & Support

• Provide day-to-day SAP Basis support, including system configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Ensure high availability and performance of SAP systems
• Manage user administration, authorization, and system access controls
• Perform system monitoring, background job management, and transport management

System Maintenance & Performance

• Execute patch installations, kernel upgrades, and system updates
• Manage system backup and recovery processes
• Perform OS and database maintenance (Linux environment)
• Monitor and optimise system performance to ensure smooth daily operations

Business Continuity & Compliance

• Support SAP Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) activities
• Ensure proper system documentation, audit trails, and compliance with internal policies

Project & Vendor Management

• Support SAP-related projects, upgrades, and enhancements
• Liaise with external vendors and partners to resolve system issues
• Ensure timely delivery of IT-related initiatives

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline
• At least 1 to 2 years of SAP Basis administration experience
• Knowledge of SAP HANA and NetWeaver technologies
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA environment is an advantage
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication skills with ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels
• Able to work independently and support project implementation
