SAP Cutover Manager

The Cutover Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the entire cutover process during the implementation of SAP S/4HANA. This role requires a solid understanding of cutover methodologies, strong project management capabilities, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure all required data, configurations, and technical prerequisites are in place for the cutover.
  • Conduct cutover rehearsals to validate readiness and proactively identify issues or risks.
  • Communicate cutover plans, timelines, and status updates to key stakeholders and project team members.
  • Manage all cutover activities during the go-live phase, including data migration, system transitions, issue resolution, and post-go-live support.
  • Identify, propose, and implement measures to reduce downtime and ensure a stable transition.
  • Structured and documentation-oriented working style.

Education

  • Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, business administration, or equivalent (master’s degree/diploma preferred), or comparable professional experience.

Experience and Knowledge

  • At least two years of experience in Project Management.
  • Experience with data migration and system cutovers.
  • Knowledge of change management principles and best practices.
  • Interest in digital innovation, automation, and emerging technologies (e.g., AI, Power BI, Azure DevOps).
  • Basic understanding or willingness to learn automation and AI-driven tools is a plus.

Language

  • English required; German is a plus.
