SAP FICO & JVA Consultant

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a SAP FICO & JVA Consultant based in India.

As an SAP FICO & JVA Consultant, you will provide expert support for critical SAP finance solutions in a complex enterprise environment. Working remotely, you'll ensure the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud applications while supporting business-critical financial operations. This role combines deep functional expertise with hands-on troubleshooting, cross-module integration, and stakeholder collaboration to deliver timely, high-quality solutions. You'll work across SAP FICO, Joint Venture Accounting (JVA), Project Systems (PS), and integrated business processes, helping optimize financial operations and system performance. Accountabilities:

  • Provide functional and technical support for SAP FICO, Joint Venture Accounting (JVA), and Project Systems (PS) modules within an SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud environment.
  • Deliver prompt on-call support for production incidents and urgent break-fix requests, ensuring critical issues are resolved within established service-level agreements.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand operational requirements and deliver effective SAP solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Configure, support, and optimize integrations between SAP FICO, JVA, PS, Materials Management (MM), and HR Time Management modules.
  • Leverage SAP Fiori applications to enhance user experience, streamline business processes, and improve system usability.
  • Perform root cause analysis, advanced troubleshooting, and issue resolution across integrated SAP modules while maintaining system stability.
  • Support continuous system optimization initiatives and recommend improvements tailored to business and industry requirements.
  • Develop and maintain functional documentation, configuration records, support procedures, and knowledge articles while delivering end-user training and ongoing support.
  • Requirements

    • Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience with SAP FICO, including specialized expertise in Joint Venture Accounting (JVA) and Project Systems (PS).
    • Proven experience supporting SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud environments and working with SAP Fiori applications.
    • Strong expertise in SAP financial processes, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Controlling (CO).
    • Demonstrated experience configuring and supporting SAP JVA and Project Systems modules.
    • Extensive experience integrating SAP FICO with Materials Management (MM) and HR Time Management.
    • Strong understanding of SAP cross-functional integrations and enterprise financial processes.
    • Oil & Gas industry experience is highly preferred.
    • Ability to manage critical production issues, meet tight resolution timelines, and perform effectively under pressure.
    • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities and support activities simultaneously.
