At DXC Technology, our SAP practice is growing rapidly—and we’re looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance Senior Consultant to play a pivotal role in delivering complex, enterprise‑scale transformation programmes for global clients.

This is an opportunity to sit at the heart of major SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations, shaping compliant, efficient, and fully integrated financial operations across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Banking, and Financial Close.

About the Role

As a Senior Consultant, you’ll combine deep functional expertise with hands-on SAP configuration to deliver best‑practice finance solutions that meet statutory requirements and drive business efficiency. You’ll work closely with Finance leaders, solution architects, and cross‑functional teams, translating business needs into robust SAP S/4HANA designs that integrate seamlessly with Procurement, Sales, Projects, and HR/Payroll.

You’ll be trusted to lead workshops, guide design decisions, support testing and cutover, and act as a key advisor to clients throughout the lifecycle—from blueprint to post‑go‑live stabilisation.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead Finance workshops to capture business requirements and design S/4HANA solutions
  • Configure SAP S/4HANA Finance modules including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Bank Accounting
  • Support the design of financial close, reconciliations, and statutory reporting
  • Ensure end‑to‑end integration with MM (P2P), SD (OTC), PS (Projects), and HCM (Payroll)
  • Produce high‑quality functional specifications for WRICEF developments
  • Support Finance data migration (open items, balances, fixed assets) and reconciliation through mock cycles
  • Actively contribute to SIT, UAT, regression testing, and cutover rehearsals
  • Provide post‑go‑live support and lead knowledge transfer to client Finance teams
  • Produce clear project deliverables including process maps, test scripts, and training materials

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong, hands‑on experience delivering SAP S/4HANA Finance (GL, AP, AR, AA, Banking)
  • Solid understanding of IFRS/GAAP, tax configuration, and statutory compliance
  • Experience with financial close processes, reconciliations, and reporting
  • Proven integration knowledge across Procurement, Sales, Payroll, and Projects
  • Ability to create high‑quality blueprints, functional specs, and testing artefacts
  • Confident facilitator with excellent stakeholder engagement skills

Tools & Methods You’ll Work With

  • SAP S/4HANA Finance (1909 or later)
  • SAP Fiori apps for Finance
  • SAP Activate methodology
  • Solution Manager, JIRA, qTest (or similar test/change tools)
  • SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) – desirable

Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or IT
  • SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting certification (desirable)
  • Professional accounting qualifications (ACCA, CIMA, CPA) – advantageous
