Fusion Consulting is looking for an experienced SAP TM Functional Consultant to join our international SAP team and support the delivery of high-quality transportation management solutions within SAP environments.

The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to understand transportation and logistics requirements, translating them into SAP solutions, and supporting implementation, enhancement, testing, and deployment activities. Fluent German and English are required, as the consultant will work directly with German-speaking business users and project teams.

What you will be doing

  • Preparing and facilitating workshops with business stakeholders to gather and analyze transportation management requirements.
  • Translating business requirements into SAP TM configuration and functional solutions.
  • Performing detailed analysis of transportation and logistics processes and proposing effective SAP solutions.
  • Configuring and testing SAP TM functionalities according to business needs.
  • Supporting integration activities between SAP TM and other SAP modules, including EWM, SD, MM, LE, and FI.
  • Maintaining and updating project documentation, including process flows, functional specifications, configuration documents, and testing documentation.
  • Creating Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and supporting technical teams during development activities.
  • Supporting master data preparation, migration activities, and transportation-related data validation.
  • Participating in end-to-end testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), defect resolution, and go-live support.
  • Collaborating with global and local teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

  • At least 3 years of SAP TM consulting experience and ideally one full-cycle SAP implementation project.
  • Strong hands-on experience in SAP Transportation Management (TM) configuration and support.
  • Good understanding of transportation and logistics processes, including:
    • Freight Order Management
    • Freight Unit Management
    • Transportation Planning
    • Carrier Selection
    • Freight Settlement
    • Charge Management
    • Tendering
    • Transportation Execution
    • Freight Cost Calculation
  • Experience integrating SAP TM with EWM, SD, MM, LE, and FI.
  • Experience supporting testing activities, defect resolution, and business process validation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent German (spoken and written).
  • Professional English communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA TM.
  • Experience with Embedded TM.
  • Experience integrating SAP TM and SAP EWM.
  • Experience in manufacturing, retail, logistics, or supply chain-intensive environments.
  • Previous experience working in international project environments.
