Fusion Consulting is looking for an experienced SAP WM Functional Consultant to join our international SAP team and support the delivery of high-quality warehouse management solutions within SAP environments.

The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to understand warehouse and logistics requirements, translating them into SAP solutions, and supporting implementation, enhancement, testing, and deployment activities. Fluent German and English are required, as the consultant will work directly with German-speaking business users and project teams.

What you will be doing

  • Preparing and facilitating workshops with business stakeholders to gather and analyze warehouse management requirements.
  • Translating business requirements into SAP WM configuration and functional solutions.
  • Performing detailed analysis of warehouse and logistics processes and proposing effective SAP solutions.
  • Configuring and testing SAP WM functionalities according to business needs.
  • Supporting integration activities between SAP WM and other SAP modules, including MM, SD, PP, QM, and EWM where applicable.
  • Maintaining and updating project documentation, including process flows, functional specifications, configuration documents, and testing documentation.
  • Creating Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and supporting technical teams during development activities.
  • Supporting data migration, master data validation, and warehouse-related data preparation activities.
  • Participating in end-to-end testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), defect resolution, and go-live support.
  • Collaborating with global and local teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

  • At least 3 years of SAP WM consulting experience and ideally one full-cycle SAP implementation project.
  • Strong hands-on experience in SAP Warehouse Management (WM) configuration and support.
  • Good understanding of warehouse and logistics processes, including:
    • Goods Receipt
    • Goods Issue
    • Putaway
    • Picking
    • Stock Transfers
    • Physical Inventory
    • Batch Management
    • Handling Units
  • Experience integrating SAP WM with MM, SD, PP, and QM.
  • Experience supporting testing activities, defect resolution, and business process validation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent German (spoken and written).
  • Professional English communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with SAP EWM.
  • Experience in SAP S/4HANA projects.
  • Experience in manufacturing, logistics, or warehouse-intensive environments.
  • Experience with warehouse automation or RF solutions.
  • Previous experience working in international project environments.
