Compensation range: $24.89 - $26.00 (depending on experience)

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Milgard Windows & Doors, part of MITER Brands, is seeking a Scheduler to join our manufacturing team in Fife, WA. In this role, you will support production planning and scheduling functions by coordinating production workflows, managing change orders, resolving backorders, and ensuring accurate production documentation. The ideal candidate will have previous scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment, strong analytical skills, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily scheduling and production planning activities to ensure efficient manufacturing operations.

  • Perform capacity planning and product leveling across multiple production lines and departments.

  • Prepare and maintain production paperwork, data entry records, and scheduling documentation.

  • Manage change orders and backorder resolutions, including preparing order revisions, reviewing acknowledgements, and verifying delivery dates.

  • Participate in production and backorder meetings to help identify issues and implement solutions.

  • Apply mathematical calculations and formulas to support custom grid edits and order configurations.

  • Troubleshoot scheduling, backorder, waste, and system-related issues as they arise.

  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to production performance and issue resolution.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and improve processes that enhance production efficiency.

  • Learn engineering specifications for Milgard product lines and provide technical support to internal teams, including Sales.

  • Execute approved customer change orders and ensure timely follow-up, completion, and communication.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; additional college coursework is preferred.

  • Previous scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment is required.

  • Strong mathematical aptitude and ability to perform advanced calculations.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Experience with Oracle or other ERP systems is preferred.

  • Previous experience with data entry and customer service.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • Flexibility to work weekends as business needs require.
