Scheduling Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Spine Team Texas Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for all incoming calls into the facility and directing them to the appropriate personnel. While providing the highest quality of customer service, this position is responsible for scheduling and maintaining appointments and clinic schedules. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Spine Team Texas.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. It is the responsibility of the Scheduling Coordinator to answer and route all incoming calls, schedule various appointments and document appropriately within the Centricity system.
  2. It is the responsibility of this position to provide accurate and appropriate information to authorized individuals in a timely and efficient manner. This includes working with outside physician offices in scheduling their referred patients.
  3. It is imperative for the position to provide the highest quality of customer service and maintain appropriate documentation.
  4. Other duties and responsibilities may be required by the Spine Team Texas Billing Director.

Customer Service

All Spine Team Texas employees are required to maintain the highest level of customer service at all times. Employees must always speak in a kind, courteous and professional manner when dealing with a patient/customer or co-worker. Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

Must be able to sit for long periods of time and work in a well-lit, air conditioned office environment. Must have ability to lift a minimum of 5 pounds. Must be able to work under pressure. Tasks involve no exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials.
