Job Title: Front Desk Agent


JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for welcoming guests, handling check-in and check-out procedures, and providing high-quality guest services. This role plays a key part in ensuring a smooth, comfortable, and memorable stay by delivering personalized service and coordinating guest needs with various departments.


JOB OVERVIEW/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage all check-in and check-out procedures at the front desk
  • Provide courteous assistance and guidance to in-house and arriving guests
  • Handle reservations, guest records, and payment processes accurately
  • Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional manner
  • Assist with bookings for restaurants, ski lessons, rentals, and various activities
  • Provide information on local attractions, events, and hotel services
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area
  • Support luggage handling and transportation arrangements when required
  • Manage room keys securely while ensuring guest privacy
  • Remain calm and solution-oriented during busy periods or unexpected situations
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences


Training and support will be provided to help you succeed in the role.


REQUIREMENTS

【Must】

  • Experience
    • Experience in customer service or guest-facing roles
  • Education and Qualification
    • Valid working visa in Japan
  • Skills
    • Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage bookings efficiently
    • Ability to perform accurately in fast-paced environments
  • Language Skills
    • Business level or above in English
  • Competencies
    • Strong guest-oriented mindset focused on service excellence, demonstrated through a friendly, polite, and professional attitude toward guests and colleagues
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members across departments
    • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays


【Preferred】

  • Experience
    • Previous experience in hotels, resorts, or tourism-related operations
    • Experience working in winter resorts or ski destinations
  • Education and Qualification
    • Valid Driver’s License (Japanese, international, or foreign driver’s license with an official Japanese Translation)
  • Skills
    • Experience using hotel reservation or property management systems (PMS)
  • Language Skills
    • Conversational level or above in Japanese
  • Competencies
    • Positive and friendly personality that enhances the guest environment
    • Quick decision-making and problem-solving abilities

Employment Terms and Condition

Contract Period & Renewal

  • Contract Period: 11/16/2026 - 3/31/2027
  • Contract renewal: Applicable
  • Reason of Renewal:
    • Employee’s work performance and attitude.
    • Company’s business demands.

Duty, Work Location & Scope of Changes

  • Duty: may be changed as determined by the company
  • Initial Work Location: one of the company’s properties in Niseko Area, Rusutsu or Furano, Hokkaido
  • Scope of changes: company properties in Niseko Area, Rusutsu or Furano.
    • Training may be conducted at other location.
    • Employees may be required to work at different properties based on operational needs.
    • The initial assignment will be determined by the company.

Commuting & Workplace policy

  • Private Vehicle Commuting: Not permitted
  • Measures to prevent passive smoking: indoor smoking prohibited

Working hours, Days off & Overtime

  • Working hours / Shift schedule: Up to 8 hours between 06:00 to 22:00
  • Days off: two days off per week (based on shift schedule)
  • Overtime: Yes
  • Monthly Average Overtime Hours: 10 hours per month
  • 36-Article Agreement (overtime): Applicable (Due to seasonal factors and a high concentration of orders from general customers, periods of increased workload are expected)


Salary Package / Benefit

  • Salary: 1,600 yen / per hour ~
  • Subsidized Ski Pass on your location or Recreational Allowance
